Update in the improv comic, due to computer failure one of the members in the Rolento Vs. Texas comic had to drop out. Therefore that comic will only have 15 entires instead of 18 since we'll only be working with a five man roster.

On a side note for my part in the improv comic, yes I know I mention MAVAV and yes, I know it was one big joke if anybody really knows what it was suppose to be. I just couldn't think of any other kind of group that is against video games in general... well besides every politician that doesn't have or doesn't understand their own children but they didn't unionize or anything did they?

We got a SPECIAL update today. Gil was over at the kaiserwave forum and heard the news that their forum was goign to close down. Being a nice guy, he offered to help out with establishing a new forum until a third party entered the scene and offered to host both kaiserwave and the kikouken forums. So we finally escaped the hellish pop up ads from EZboards and left to our new forum. Most likely we will be closing the old messageboard down soon so be quick and register now! Also I know I aven't fixed the link on our "message board" button but I'll get to that soon. My hands are a bit full right now as far as the CCA goes.

ARGH! I HATE customer service reps! So what happened to the kikouken server? well funny you should ask because thetruemeaningoflife.com has a small skit that explains our situation perfectly

Well anyway, as you can tell by the question marks in the improv comic section, our improv comic took a direct hit by this whole situation. Gman was very kind to host the improv comic over at beatrush.com but in the frenzy of Gil yelling at customer service reps for like two weeks we kind of lost count of due dates. The due dates will be back up after a few days when we sort everything out but believe me when I say that the improv comic wasn't our biggest worry for the last week or so.

In other news, the CCA will soon have it's own domain soon! I finally have a couple of bucks and the drive to move this hunk of crap to another server so be ready to update your links. No date is set in stone but I'll be sure to give everybody a heads up.

It feels DAMN good to be back eh?

Yo everybody, Ash here and I've got a mouthful for everyone this week..

Following last update's trend we have another comic and trailer in store for ya. First off quickly following his update Gman hauled ass and finished hist latest cmic Tifa Vs. Dead or Alive. After the DOA: Volleyball game I think we all saw this coming sooner or later. And just recently Lain decided to whip out her comic skills and got cracking at her latest comic, the CCA rendition of the Matrix (no offical title has been announced so far. bleh!). You can check out the teaser for it here.In other comic news, i've been busy at work on my latest Resident Evil Zero comic and I can tell ya that this one is going to be my longest comic yet. Just to give all you who have played the game an idea of how long it is, I have somewhere close to 50 panels done and Rebecca's not even off the train yet. Oh my...

As for the Improv comic... well good news and bad news. The good news is that since the line up got so filledwith people... we're splitting it into TWO improv comics. Rolento Vs. Texas shall be one and Morrigan and Chun li Vs. Vice City is the other. So you'll have twice the improv this summer. Now to the bad news which is I haven't got the slightest idea when it will start. I haven't seen Gil online for the last few days so we can't really set a starting date since he's the leader of the second comic team. We also have some trouble with one spot in the comic teams that will probably be open for another person some time in the future but since I'm not in charge of Gil's team I don't really want to give you any false information so keep your ears open.

Gman here with some exciting news.

Earlier this week, Soth has finished Sephiroth vs Half-Life.  It took him long sure, but it's well worth reading.  Also, Gilgamesh has released a teaser to Zhuge Liang vs Major League Baseball.  Who is Zhuge you ask ?  Well if you ever played Dynasty Warriors 3 you'll figure it out.

Also, we, the CCA have decided to start on another improv comic.  Similar to how we did Athena vs MTV, this time the new hero is Rolento.  Street Fighter fans will recognize him, and the title will be "Rolento vs Texas".  So far we are working out the kinks and details and also when we'll be starting on the comic.  And Gil has made it clear that non CCA members are eligible to participate, just as long as you cooperate.  We aren't bad guys, we just like quality in our work ^_^.

Haha! Finally, I got this update on time!

As far as anything interesting, Gman released a teaser to his latest comic, Tifa vs. DOA, this week so definatley check it out. I think it was just a matter of time before someone actually made a DOA comic. I mean seriously, it's like shooting fish in a barrel.

Gman also gave his two cents on the topic of webcomics on his page and I think that is a must read for anybody thinking about making a comic, CCA related or not. It'll definately hold you over until the Comic FAQ is updated which probably won't be until I finish school in June.

Oh yeah, and as of the 19th of May, Spence's Super Dojo had it's third birthday. so make sure to drop by and tell Spence a happy birthday, okay? And by the way, I DID fix the broken link to his page on the members page so bleh! Thanks to no one for pointing that out!

And since I was fixing Spence's broken link, I also gave our "quotes" an update as well. As for the last batch of quotes, if you guessed Tenchu: Wrath of Heaven (which I doubt anybody did) you're right! What's are these weeks? You're just gonna have to wait until my next update. Bleh!

Alright, today's update is a whopper !

I have added two mini comics of mine called "Tifa Tales" to the Tifa comics section, making the total of 13 Tifa comics in that section! Violent Dave has slaved over his latest teaser comic Cammy vs MI6 any secret agent fan shouldn't miss this. Lain has also added more to her Athena's misadventures mini comic about the typical Gamefaq forum goer.

Gilgamesh has updated the CCA RPG news page . Check the link for details.

Ack! Now I'M starting to forget my duties as well!

Okay everybody. I think we all know that for the last few months or so all of our updates have been about the CCA RPG and that alone so now we're setting aside another page for the RPG alone. You'll find it under the CCA RPG page from now on. I personally am taking a well deserved break from the RPG now that I finished the tag team system to work on my comics for a bit before jumping back in to program combos so don't expect any news about the CBS for a while now.

Oh, and as always, there's more entries in the fan art contest and they're looking pretty good. I would, however, like to request one thing from anybody else thinking about entering the contest. Please just don't take random pictures of each cast member and paste them together and think you have a chance to win. If you want to make some kind of collage, please put some time and effort into it okay?

Last update: 4/15/03

Sorry it's been too long, even I can get forgetful at my responsibilities at times.

Today we have a new comic... well it was new for over a week, but for those who don't venture in the message boards its Tifa Vs. Final Fantasy 10 by yours truly ^_^. And Lain has made a mini comic giving you an idea of some of the dorks in the GameFaq's messageboards, I've seen what goes on, trust me.

Right now I want to concentrate on helping Gilgamesh and Ash prep the RPG for a demo soon. We are already starting on plans for late in the game, and there is much more work to be done before we can confirm anything. But if all goes well a demo should be out by summertime.

APRIL FOOLS!

Yesterday I posted an "emergency update" with a letter from Square Enix's legal department telling us that we were violating their copywrites and such and ordered us to shut down our sites. The Curves of Valmar, Beatrush.com, and Soth's Sephiroth AGSF site all went offline for the day showing the same letter, and the parts of the CCA that deal with Square and Enix characters were taken down. Mass hysteria then ensued. People shouted obcenities, offered legal advice, and some even wrote to Square on our behalf.

Ha ha. Fooled you!

Yes, it was all a prank. Square never did such a thing to us. Our sites are all back up and running as healthy as ever. Square (to my knowledge) has never shut down harmless little fansites like ours. In fact, their fans are very important to them. Why, just look at all the fan service in FFX-2.

Anyway, if anybody from Square Enix is actually paying attention here, don't bother suing us, we have no money. And, uh, if you wrote to Square complaining about this, and they write back asking what the hell you're talking about... umm... please don't reply.

Hello all, comic fans. Host and Former Supreme Leader of the CCA here. I wish it were under more pleasant circumstances that I return to updating the CCA, but unfortunately it's not. No sooner does the Square Enix merger become official than I get this in my in-box.

From: Legal@Squaresoft.Com

Subject: Copyright and Trademark Infringement

Please be advised further that such unauthorized uses of such materials constitute (among other things) copyright and trademark infringement and are actionable under state and federal laws.

Square Enix Co., Ltd., on behalf of itself and its affiliated companies, hereby demands that you immediately cease and desist from any and all unauthorized use of it's proprietary property (or that of its parent or affiliated companies), and that you provide Square Enix immediately with written assurances that you will comply with this demand. Without limiting the generality of the foregoing, Square Enix hereby demands that you immediately shut down any and all World Wide Web sites or other Internet activities related to the properties of Square Enix and provide a written description to us of all such activities in which you have engaged to date.

Very truly yours,

Ari P. Lofos

General Counsel and
Director of Legal Affairs
Square Enix USA

In other words, I have to shut down my Millenia Shrine and take down all Square and Enix related comics from the site, and my Millenia Vs Kingdom Hearts comics is now officially DOA. This is bad enough already, but it's a devasting blow to our RPG. Without the leisure of using Square and Enix characters, it opens up an assload of problems, not the least of which is the fact that we'll have to recast three of the party members. This will delay us by God only knows how long and whatever we come up with now certainly won't be as good as what we had in mind. But we're left with no other option, unfortunately...

-Gilgamesh

3/24/03

GAH!!!! Dynasty Warriors Four..... have to wait...... one more day... must have.... NOW!

hehehe... I'm sounding a little too Wei Yan right there. Well anyway, nothing much happned that we can say to the ignorant masses right now. A lot of behind the scenes events have been going on but I doubt any of you are interested unless you're a CCA member.

What I think you will be interested in is that there is yet again, more entries to the fan art contest... well actually one new entry but it's from our very own Dave so go check it out.

Oh yeah, and I've finished another chunk of the custom battle system for the CCA RGP. Now we've added the Final Fantasy X "tag team" system so you'll be able to switch party members in and out of the battle party at any time. I doubt we'll also add that stupid "certain characters do more or less damage to certain enemies" cuz that's just a tad bit lame. Actually truth be told, I ran into one last bug in the system that I need to deal with but besides that, it's finished. Next we have me adding the combo system in and then we'll start thinking about putting together a playable demo.

-Ash

3/9/03

A bit late on the update, but we have recieved a handful of submissions for the CCA fanart contest !  Things are starting to pick up there so if you want to submit something to make us drool in awe then do so ! ^_^ .

Other than that things are mellow around here.  As usual progress on the RPG is still going, maybe when the chance comes we can have some updated screenshots to keep you fans interested.  Until then, enjoy your evening.

-Gman

2/23/03

Slow week.... REAL slow week. So slow. I can't really think of anything imporant to update.

The RPG is slowly coming along as always. Gil's really picking up the pace for his scripts right now. The game has been been scripted up to the point where we think the demo should end. Now the ball is in my court to get the CBS finished (which won't be for a while).

As for our comics... Well, Gil's putting Millenia Vs. Kingdom Hearts on the back burner for right now and is starting on Zhuge Liang (Dynasty Warriors series) Vs. the MLB. Dave is also starting up on his latest comic Cammy Vs. MI6 and Gman is busy finishing Tifa vs. FFX. I tell ya, he's really starting to monopolize the Final Fantasy series when it comes to making comics. -_- As for me, I'm still working on the comic FAQ and working on Morrigan Vs. Dracula at the same time so they're keeping my hands full.

-Ash

2/25/03

Ash, you lazy bum. Well I guess I'll step in just this once, but don't anybody get any ideas about me returning as the CCA's top dog. I'm just here to put up G-Man's new Mega Man Vs Final Fantasy IV comic and the teaser to his upcoming Tifa Vs Final Fantasy X. Also, we have somenew links and a whole lot of new art contest submissions, so check 'em out!

-Gilgamesh

2/10/03

II must have amnesia because I nearly forgot to update the site.

Last week was kinda slow.  There has been plenty of things going on in the boardroom and there has been alot of work done for the RPG.

Comic wise, ......mmm can't say much.  You have already seen Millenia vs. Kingdom Hearts Part 1, and a teaser for  Run, Sakura, Run.  But also If me or Ash haven't already announced it, I started a teaser to Mega Man vs FF4.  Which is almost completed.  Seriously, all I have are the final act and the epilogue to go and then the spotlight goes back to Tifa.  It's only fair since I did two Mega Man comics in a row.

That's all I have to update, I think.... so see you in a couple of weeks !

-Gman

1/27/03

If anybody out there hasn't realized yet, now that we're down one man in the updates, Gman and I will be doing our updates every other week. I think you've all figured this out but I realized I never offically mentioned this so I just want to clear it up.

So what do I have for you people this week? Nothing really. I DID fix a few links errors... La dee frickin da! I wanted to post the charlie death chart but suddenly there has been a short outburst of newbie comic writers wanting to become rookies at the CCA and I had to critique their comics and send them emails and stuff like that. It takes a lot more energy out of you than expected. I've also been helping Gil out with his Kingdom hearts comic by testing out the limits to my new video capture card and I'm telling you people. It's a crossover comic writer's dream! If you are one of the CCA or thiking about joing us. These things save you SO much trouble if you have a DVD or video game of your favorite character.

Now that more people are suddenly wanting to join the CCA, I've decided to take a break from my other project (the CCA rpg) and work on the comic FAQ update. I think now more than ever is time for me to start working on it again. So far every rookie has been making mistakes that we mentioned in the original comic FAQ so it definately needs to go back up.

EDIT - okay so maybe I DO have something to report. An hour after I finished my update Gil came to me with the first chapter of Millenia vs. Kingdom Hearts. And then to add insult to injury, this morning I woke and and Lain posted a teaser for her latest comic Run, Sakura, Run. Maybe I should ask around before I automatically assume nothing is happening...

It feels good to be back,

If anyone has noticed, I had a pile of problems with my computer recently and I finally managed to solve them all (Minus the printer).  That means I can make comics and work on the RPG again, the downside that I wasted three free weeks to make a comic (or two) getting back to where I was.  Enough of my squabbling, on with the update.

We have a new rookie today, his name is Zeilgeiter and he has a comic. This is a good time to also announce the new Blue Mary comics section on the site.  You can view the new section and read Zeil's comic here: http://www.kikouken.com/comics/mary.htm  He did a nice job for his first comic, and we hope we get more in the future.  Blue Mary and Terry Bogard fans rejoice !

One more thing, be sure to check out the CCA Fan Art contest section for some changes in the contest deadline, and even more importantly, our first submission, a Kingdom Hearts parody from the CCA's own Violent Dave!

.  See you later !

Last update: 1/01/03

Happy new year to all from your new CCA head honcho,

No doubt most of us read last week that Gilgamesh is officially stepping down from his position as leader of the CCA and is letting me take over. To the average reader of this page I don't think you'll see any difference what so ever. The URL will stay the same, the layout will stay the same, and the overall vibe of this place will stay the same. Gilgamesh is NOT retiring from comic making let me remind you, so you'll still see him around the message board and he'll still be making comics and the CCA RPG. So overall no real difference, right?

Anyway, now that I've taken over, I'm thinking this is a good sign to do something new for the CCA. Maybe revisit ideas like adding onto and reposting the Comic FAQ. I would like to have this site to be as helpful as possible to anybody that would want to make their own comic. After all, the only way to have the CCA grow is to have new members join, eh? Times have changed since the early days of the CCA and while making an acceptable comic has become more difficult to do, the growing CCA members have always been willing to help guide anybody that asks for help.

So what can you expect from me? Not much right now. My hands are still tied from the CCA RPG and trying desperately to make comics again. However I'm finding time to work on the site. Already I'm working hard on updating and reposting the Charlie death chart. Yeah remember that? Ya don't? Well that's expected. I was hoping I could post it by this update but it's Wednesday now and I can't delay the update any longer so bleh! ^_^ May

12/23/02

Hey there, true believers. Gilgamesh here with what will be my final update of the Crossover Comic Archive. You heard right. I’m stepping down from my position as head of the CCA, effective immediately. This isn’t something I want to do, but it’s something I need to do. As a full-time college student, my time is pretty limited, and it’s gotten to the point where it’s become too much for me to manage the affairs of the CCA as well as my own life.

I’ve talked this over with the other members, and Ash Rigo has volunteered to take over as the head of the CCA.

I will continue to update and maintain my Chun-Li and Millenia shrines, but the CCA is a different story. Simply knowing that I have massive influence on this little institution I built from the ground up is quite stressful. I love this place, but this is something I have to do. It’s better for everybody, I think. There is over a month before the next semester of classes begins for me, and I think this would be the best time to ease the CCA off its dependence on me. Yes, even though G-Man makes most of the comics these days and I no longer am solely responsible for updating the site, the CCA still depends on me in many ways, and we need to begin getting past that.

But take heart, my loyal subjects. I won’t be gone completely. I’ll still be an active member of the CCA and I will continue to work on the CCA RPG and Millenia Vs Kingdom Hearts, and don’t worry about this slowing down the progress on either of those two projects. If anything, this has given me MORE time to work on them. I just won’t be running the show anymore.

-Gilgamesh

12/16/02

Yup, another slow week for us busy bodies of the CCA. Highly understandable since it's the holidays and all. The only thing bustling with activity right now is the boardroom. So if you have something interesting to say, or just want to say hi, do so. All we ask is for you to hang in there, just keep in mind that we're not dead !

-Gman

12/10/02

Gilgamesh's update. Busy. No time for verbs. RPG script, well. Millenia Vs Kingdoms Hearts Chapter 1 ready soon. New quotes for members' profiles this week. Bye now.

-Gilgamesh

 12/01/02

Christmas time is here and that seems to be the only thing that's happening right now in the CCA. I admit it's been slow these last few months and there's no real big break in sight. So remember everybody.... patients!

My desire to create a new comic is getting cut a little short right now since my new computer that I should have received from Dell about a week ago is being delayed again until the 11th of this month. Whoo.... Remember kids, never order from dell when they have any kind of special offer. They'll just trying to weenie their way out of it by delaying it for up to a month and hope you cancel the order. -_-

However with Christmas comes my new Gamecube, complete with a very special game that I've been itching to get my paws on ever since it was announced. What is it? Well, I don't really want to say now, but I will say this. The main character of the game will become the next CCTS member so when I finally get around to beating the game, I'll be making the comic to introduce the new agent ASAP!

-Ash

11/19/02

Well, so much for the nice big update I had planned. I guess it just wasn't in the cards. Well, when my schedule clears up a bit, I'll do all the things I had been hoping to do for this update, regardless of whose turn it to update it is. There's not much new to report, we've all been pretty busy with our own real lives and various projects. But part of what I was going to add to this update were various mini-comics CCA members have done throughout the months and years as little "fillers" that I think would act well to keep the updates interesting and take the pressure off CCA members to get their next big thing done, so look for that soon.

Oh yes, and I've changed each of the quotes in the members' profiles. To answer any inquisitive minds, last time they were Puchuu death cries from Excel Saga. I'll let those of you who recognize these new quotes get a nice, knowing laugh at them and those of you who don't can squirm until I feel like changing them again, probably in another three or four weeks. ^_^

-Gilgamesh

11/11/02

Better late than never I suppose. Well seems Gil has come down with something so I'm switching updates with him. Gilgamesh will take the next update.

This week there is not much to say really. It's been pretty slow here. Even the message board is kinda slow, curse the real world ! ^_^. But Gilgamesh has some plans instore for you next week so keep your chin up !

-Gman

 11/4/02

Well I think we all saw this one coming.... It is the decision of the CCA that this years CCA awards will be cancelled due to the extreme lack of time we all have. Gil, Gman, and myself, the three guys that actually make the comic and awards are all working on the RPG right now so we can only do one project at a time. All comics that were made in the last year will be added to next year's ballot so no one is gonna get royally screwed by the cancellation of the Awards. Our apologies go out to everyone who was looking forward to it but I think we can all agree that the CCA RPG is a bigger priority than the awards.

iOn a lighter note, don't forget, Excel Saga DVD #3 is out this week so collect your pennies and march down to your nearest video store and buy it! I know I am ^_^ This is Jessica Calvello last preformance as Excel since she injured her voice during a recording session for volume 4 I believe. Honestly, I can't say I'm surprised. She had to do a lot of hight pitched screaming that would have slaughtered my vocal chords in one day's worth of recording so I'm impressed she even made it this far!

-Ash

Last update: 10/27/02

Almost Halloween this month fans, of course I'm not doing anything special except for homework. Oh !! Don't forget "Excel Saga Vol. 3" will be released November 5th. So preorder yours at Amazon.com now ! I already did ^_^.

Well in the comic news, Ash is taking a break from the RPG to work on his comic which is titled "Morrigan vs Dracula", Soth has "Sephiroth vs Half-life" still in the works, and Gilgamesh is close to releasing a teaser to "Millenia vs Kingdom Hearts". I've decided to take a break from comics to work on the RPG a bit. I say about a month from now I'll be in full swing....I think.

I'm sure most of you have already gotten wind of the new Final Fantasy X sequel. Yuna has been given a complete makeover similar to Lara Croft. And Rikku and another female character are the leads along with Yuna. Message boards and chatrooms are in an uproar, I haven't seen this much Square bashing since Kingdom Hearts !! (*cue the drums* "Bad-dum bad-dum bad-dum pshING !")..............Ehem, anyway. Have a nice day. .

-Gman

Last update: 10/21/02

Hello all, Gilgamesh here! Well poor Ash, in his haste to update the page last weekend, neglected to mention G-Man's lasted comic, Mega Man Vs FWAC! Be sure to check out G-Man's 733t skillz!

There's been quite a bit of progress on the CCA RPG lately. Ash has made great progress with the custom battle system, I've finally worked past some major roadblocks I've been experiencing with the script, and G-Man... well, G-Man's been a mile ahead of the two of us ever since he signed on to the project. ^_^

My own comic, Millenia Vs Kingdom Hearts, is coming along pretty smoothly. I imagine in another week or two I'll probably have a teaser for you all to enjoy. It won't hurt that midterm season will finally been coming to a close, either, heh heh.

-Gilgamesh

10/14/02

A few topics for the week. CCA RPG, Art contest, Grandia Xtreme:

First off, I've made big progress in the CBS this week and have almost every character's skills programed in the system. After this, I just need to work out all their bugs and I've finished the first big chunck of the CBS. What am I gonna work on next? I'm guessing the Tag team system which may or may not take a long time depending on how well the current CBS is willing to cooperate with me ^_^ But before I do that, I've decided to take a well deserved break from the CBS and make a comic. Don't worry. It won't be that long since I pretty much have the entire comic wrtten down on several pages of notes.

Next we have the CCA art contest... and.... er... I'll be honest with you... I don't know what's going on. I think Gil has the contest page on his computer but I don't think he put it on the site yet. In fact, I'm trying to talk to him on ICQ as I'm typing this but I'm not getting a responce so it doesn't look like I'm gonna get any light shined on this subject any time soon -_- I guess you're gonna have to wait another week for Gil to tell you what's going on.

And finally. On a side note, over the weekend I finally bought a copy of Grandia Xtreme for the PS2 and it kicks ass! It's nowhere near as kick ass as Grandia 2 but it still is a great game to play! So if anybody has fifty bucks to spare, I advise buying or at least renting this game.

10/06/02

First update for October ! Why is it so special ?........ Hmm, I'll get back to you on that. Anyway, the comic works have been going a much steadier pace than normal. Besides Soth back in action with "Sephiroth vs Half-Life", Gilgamesh is about to start Millenia's debut comic "Millenia vs Kingdom Hearts". I've played and beaten the game myself, and I gotta say there is way too much comic potential in this game. So the end result should be good. I'm not sure what any other CCA member is working on, they probably have things that are holding them back (like Ash and the Custom Battle System for the RPG). As for myself, I wanted to have "Mega Man vs FWAC" done by this update, but that wasn't possible. All I have left is the final battle and the epilogue and I'm good to go !

Well, we promised you the rules for the RPG cover art contest. But Gil doesn't have access to his laptop and the net until he goes back to his dorm. So expect the rules to be posted sometime tomorrow. Same goes for the in-game screenshots we promised too. Sorry for the delays but the lot of us have been busy ^_^.

-Gman

9/30/02

Hello all, it's your friendly neighborhood tyranical ruler Gilgamesh here with a late CCA update, but I think you'll agree the minor delay was worth it, because Paul Soth, who's been out of action for over a year and a half, has finally given his site a super-sweet update and released a teaser of his next comic, Sephiroth Vs Half-Life!

As for the contest Ash mentioned, I will be posting the official rules on G-Man's update, since I don't have them quite done right now. Put bluntly though, it's an art contest to see who can come up with the best cover art for the CCA RPG.

-Gilgamesh

9/22/02

Howdy once again for another weekly CCA update...

The only bit of news we have this week is actually quite a big one. It looks like the CCA will start its first contest sometime within the next few weeks. The search for a good title screen for the RPG has been bugging Gil enough to let the ignorant masses have a stab at making one for him. The contest rules have not been totally writen out and Gil's still trying to find a good prize for the grand prize winner and maybe a few runner up prizes. Hopefully we'll be able to start it off sometime soon so start thinking of a good title pic in advance so you can hit the ground running!!

-Ash

9/14/02

Hmm, it didn't seem THAT long since I last updated has it ? Well anyway, the CCA has had a good week in comics. Lain has finally finished her comic Athena vs the Sailor Senshi" Hope you can see the comic before Geoshitties takes it down for a few hours ^_^. Also I have finally finished Tifa vs Mario, which is in the Tifa comics section, but you can go here. Also I started a new comic, starring Mega Man !! It has been well over a year since he's been in a CCA comic and he deserves a comeback ! Its a 3 page teaser so I'll take some time before it's completed. Gilgamesh has been well underway with Charlie vs Heck, and he's being side-tracked by a slew of good ideas for a Kingdom Hearts comic, let's just hope he gives us a teaser for the Charlie comic by the end of the week ^_^.

In RPG news, we are in asking for ideas to what the game title screen will look like. Check it out and see what we have come up with, and then if you have something that'll just sweep us away, then let us hear it. (Just watch out for them pop up ads on the way there). Next thing I will do shortly is go through the game and make some screenshots for your viewing pleasure. You do deserve to see what the fuss is about. So I think a dozen shots should be enough to give you an idea how hard we are working on this game.

Hope this tides you over until next update, until then......

I love it when Ash updates late, it lets me put mine off a little longer. ^_^ Gilgamesh here with a sweet new laptop and ready to get back to business! Progress in the RPG and in my own projects has been slowing down a bit lately cuz of my big move, but now that I'm beginning to get settled in I can pick up where I left off. Not only that, but recently I've been getting some good ideas for a possible Chun-Li Vs Kingdom Hearts comic, which I might start working on even before I finish my Charlie Vs Heck comic.

Although I haven't had much time to work on the actual script or scenes in the RPG, at long last we've finally decided on each of the missions and worked out a rough idea of how they'd go, including that ever-tricky final mission, which I think ought to be pretty sweet indeed.

Yeah! Yeah! I know my update is late! So sue me!

The total lack of udate lately is mainly due to the total lack of things that are worth mentioning in the update. This update like many others is the usual jive that says "No comics, little progress on the RPG." While many of us are thinking of ideas for a comic to make,(or in my case, have 90% of the comic planned out down to the pictures I'm gonna use o_0) we're all pretty busy here at the CCA and don't really have time to make them..

Guardians of Kikouken City (is this the final name? I don't really know.) is coming along fine as usual. Gil's writing down a few of the scenes he's planing on word and let me look at a couple. They're CCA humor at its best everybody so this long wait is definately worth it!

Welcome back Crossover Comic fans, Gman hasn't forgotten about you !

Starting off in the comic news, Gilgamesh is still having problems with his USB. You already know that Charlie vs Heck will be delayed. And looking at Lain's site she's almost done with her latest comic. So keep checking the boardroom for details. As for the rest....I, dunno what they're working on so I'll just go straight to me. I've found some free time to work on Tifa vs Mario. I'm up 50 panels and I think it'll be another 25 before I finish. I want to try and finish this by the end of the month. And I got some plans for more comics, but I can say what ....yet.

The Guardians of Kikouken City (Not final name) progress is going smoothly. Once I can get some normal days off for a change I can experiment and cram some more maps and charasets in with no interruptions ^_^.

Greetings, folks. Gilgamesh here with your weekly update. Violent Dave is back with his third comic, Cammy Vs Kingpin. It's a shame, if he makes just a couple more good comics like these we won't be able to call him a rookie anymore! ^_^

Work on the CCA Vs Excel Saga comic has kinda slowed down recently since we've decided to heed Soth's advice and watch more of the series before we do any serious work, but at the slow rate the new volumes are coming out (once every ten weeks or so) chances are we may pick things up again as early as the second volume comes out.

My own progress on Charlie Vs Heck has been hindered by my dying computer and all the junk in my personal life as I transfer to an on-campus university, but luckily this will all be over in just a couple more weeks and then I can get back on track. Fortunately, the CCA RPG, now officially titled "Guardians of Kikouken City," (though the title pic is still in the works) is coming along right on schedule. We've still got a long way to go on the script and we're continuing to revise various aspects of the game, such as missions and temp characters, as we go along, but so far I'm pleased with how it's turning out. Check out the CCA RPG page for more current info on NPCs, a final draft of each character's movelists, and info on our new temp character.

8/11/02

Well another week goes by and FINALLY some good news for the RPG! After about three weeks of being totally stuck on the CBS, I finally broke through and am up and running once again. With this done I'm around 1/8th the way done with the CBS. Although the battle screen is a littld sloppy and not how I want it to look, I'll probably post a few screenshots of my progress in the Battle system section of the RPG page.

This latest little "snag" if you wish, has however put me way behind schedule so any chances of me making a comic in the next half year is slim if next to none. -_- Hopefully Gman and Gil can hold you over until I think I have to take a break and make a comic or two.

8/03/02

Welcome once again to the place you call home, the Crossover Comic Archive.

Starting first with the comic news, I finally got off of my lazy RPG Making butt and started onTifa vs Mario !! And after seeing Excel Saga I managed to make up more wacky ideas for this comic ! It's amazing how much inspiration 5 episodes of that series can give you. Also Gilgamesh has started his work in Charlie vs Heck, hopefully he puts a teaser soon for all of us to see, so let us hope on that.

Ash still hasn't heard back from the creator of the CBS for Kindred Saga. Remember, Ash has hit a roadblock working on it and we all hope there are going to be answers here.

7/27/02

Greetings comic fans, the CCA's semi-tyranical leader Gilgamesh is back for another rousing bout of updating!

Things are a little slow on the comic front right now because of all the big stuff we've still got coming up. I'm trying to assemble the CCA members who have been fortunate enough to have seen Excel Saga to work with me in making a group "supercomic," The CCA Vs Excel Saga. Not much luck so far, though. You hear that, you lazy bums!? Let's show some enthusiasm, dammit! As for my solo projects, not only am I working on my Charlie Vs Heck comic, but lately I've been putting together some ideas for a Chun-Li Vs Parasite Eve 2 comic, and I'm toying with the idea of perhaps forgetting about a Millenia Vs Lina comic in favor of Millenia Vs Aquaman. Other possible opponants for Millenia I'm considering are the Ghostbusters, Lilith Aensland, and possibly even Shayla & Morrigan.

In RPG news, G-Man and myself are making great progress with the story and maps. I've updated the RPG page to now include more NPC profiles and a list of the currently scheduled skills each of the characters will have! I'm well on my way to getting back to where I was before I lost a bunch of the scenes I had programmed, so don't worry about me, folks. I'm much more concerned about the problems Ash has been describing to me. Ash is trying to get in touch with the person who wrote the script for the CBS Ash is modifying for our game to see if perhaps he can shed some light on the problem. Of course, if it turns out that the original scriptor's been having the same problems, then we're screwed. If we can't find a way around this problem, in the best-case scenario it will seriously delay Ash in programming the CBS, and in the worst-case scenario, well, let's try not to think about that... Cross you fingers, folks...

7/22/02

Once again, its time for yet another update.

Gman's still waiting to get his Excel saga DVD but it can't be that much longer now can it? After that's done, plans for a possible CCA vs. Excel saga supercomicwill go underway. Although its not totally confirmed that we're gonna start it since Gman hasn't even seen the anime yet, I'm next to certain that he'll like it enough to want to make the comic ^_^

Sad news for the CCA rpg staff. I hit a big snag in the CBS where three of the seven playable characters are screwing up and I haven't got the slightest idea where or how to fix the problem. Gil also has his fair share of misery since his copy of the game was deleted a whie ago and he has to start from an older version that he game Gman. Although this is a step back, we're all committed to keep our heads up and tred on so we can get a good working version of the game out soon!

  - Ash

7/14/02

Another summer week passes by. And it's my turn again to bring you another update !

Still waiting for my Excel Saga DVD to come by UPS. No biggie, I probably laugh myself into a coma hearing how funny this is. I can only watch the "Otakudom" tape so many times. Just a constant reminder of my goal to make it to Ohayocon in January.

Back to the CCA RPG game progress: We're still working our butts off to put it shortly. Ash still has ways to go with tweaking ("TOO MUCH PRESSURE !!" -Tweek, South Park) the Custom Battle System. I mean adding all those techs and such will take weeks, especially with continuous testing. Then Gilgamesh has the scipting, and events. And there has been some changes in where the gang will go next. So I bet he's moving alot of events around. As for myself, I got tons of maps and charasets to work on, well more maps anway. I'm going to post some topics in the RPG boardroom about a couple of areas and see what the others think.

Sorry, no news of any new comics as I type this. besides Lain's "Athena vs the Sailor Scouts" 1 page teaser Normally I try to release a new comic almost every month, but I don't see that happening any time soon.

  - G-man

7/8/02

Hello once again from Supreme Leader of the Crossover Comic Archive, Lord Gilgamesh! All together now... "Hail Gilgamesh!" Heh heh heh. But enough of that stuff, folks, it's been kind of a slow week here in the CCA all around, however there are noticable signs of great things to come!

As I write this, G-Man is placing his order for the Excel Saga DVD. Why is this important? Because as Excel Saga fever continues to sweep the CCA, there is talk among the CCA's elite (okay, so far it's pretty much just me and Ash) about a possible CCA Vs Excel Saga supercomic being written by the entire CCA crew! Or at least, those who have been blessed with the opportunity to watch Excel Saga.

In RPG news, there are some pretty big developments! First off, the CCA RPG page is egregiously outdated. There's a lot of info that needs changing. I'm sorry, it's my fault. I'll take care of it on my next update. As you already know, we're planning to have a tag-team feature similar, but probably not identical, to Final Fantasy X's. Ash is having trouble figuring out how to get the characters to switch out without giving up their turn, so we may have to end up giving each character a "tag-in move" that they perform when they're called into action. We're also going to borrow one of the greatest and most underused ideas in RPG battles: Combos! Much like Chrono Trigger, every character pairing will have two combos they can perform (we decided three would be a little excessive considering our game won't be nearly as long as Chrono Trigger, so we're going with two) and even triple tech combos! Sweeeet!

But you already knew that if you were paying attention to Ash the last time, right? Well how's this for news, then? Since Ash is guessing that all these nifty things we want to do with our battle system will take him quite a few months to figure out, we've decided to forget about releasing a demo and instead aim to release the entire, complete game, all at once! After all, we wouldn't be able to release a proper demo without Ash's custom battle system, and if it's going to take him all those months to set up, there's no reason why G-Man and I should sit on our asses waiting for it when we could be working on finishing the rest of the game! This could cut into our comicmaking, but in the end it'll be worth it.

6/30/02

 Greetings all,

After locking myself in my computer room for a few days strait with nothing more than a few cans of Coke and Blind Guardian music to help me stay awake, I'm slowly recovering lost ground in the new CBS. I have to say, it's a lot different but the few similarities between the two are really helping me out. Unfortunately with the advantages of the new CBS, comes a few disadvantages, in order to make our CBS a lot different from the Kindred Saga RPG, I'm cutting out a few features from the game that might delay any serious progress on my behalf. Not to mention the fact that I have to program around a hundred and fifty skills for the CCA cast before I can start to experiment with our new features like the tag team and combo system. But fear not, Gil, Gman and myself are hard at work to bring you a working demo of the RPG by the end of the year.

Now the comics… Violent Dave has a teaser for his latest comic Cammy Vs. Kingpin so definitely go check that out! And its good to see him back in the swing of things after his hard drive crashed a while ago. I definitely know how that feels. ^_^ Charlie Vs. Heck, Tifa vs. Super Mario, and Morrigan vs. Dracula are on the drawing board for Gil, Gman and myself but I don't think any of us are really focused on making a comic over the RPG. At least I'M not!

  - Ash

6/23/02

Sorry for the late update, using Photoshop and RPGMaker can really make the time fly and help forget certain responsibilities !! Just to let you know, my last update is lost and won't be in the past update log, so we'll just have to live with out it.

The comic front is still pretty quiet. Just remember Gilgamesh has "Charlie vs Heck", I have "Tifa vs Super Mario", And Lain's "Chun-li's Diary" in the makings...... eh, I havent strated on mine yet ^_^.

But the RPG has gone throught some big changes over the last few days. See, I found a newer version of Kindred Saga (game with the killer CBS) and they included some new stuff that the older CBC didn't have, and now poor Ash has even more work do merge the new and the old CBS together. Which will mean that the demo will not be done by the end of summer as we thought. Gilgamesh is working hard on the scripting and events, and making lots of changes to suit the game's worth. And myself, I've been making a ton of charasets for the game, mostly for the CBS. Hopefully soon I can get started on the other things like the pictures (used in the CBS), battle animations, and maps soon.

One more thing. Any anime fans go out and buy "Excel Saga" so far I heard nothing but great feedback from those who purchased it. It's a very funny series, and it makes no sense at times.... so I know I'll have a blast ! See you next time SPACE COWBOY.

6/18/02

Hello, comic fans. Gilgamesh here once again with an update on things. Actually there's not much to talk about right now. I mean, we're all pretty much recovering from a huge wave of comics that hit us within the last three weeks. There's really no telling at this point what the next comic will be or when it'll be out. For myself, G-Man, and Ash Rigo, our top priority is currently releasing a demo of the CCA RPG.

The biggest attraction this update is the big ol' update I made to the CCA RPG page. New info on our kick-ass custom battle system, additional character profiles, and a help wanted section, cuz even with three of the CCA's best, we still need some help!

- Gilgamesh

6/5/02

Ladies and gentlemen, one of the most anticipated comics in CCA history has finally arrived. After many, many months of work, I have finally completed one of my greatest comics ever, Chun-Li Vs Kuja! Why did it take me so long? I think that fact that it's 123 panels long speaks for itself! This is by far the longest comic I ever made and damn near close to the current record of 129 held by Tifa Vs Quistis. I certainly have no intention of continuing to make comics of this length, especially if they take me this long to complete, but this is one of my proudest works.

So what's next for ol' Gil now that he finally has this monster comic finished? I plan to do some serious work on getting a demo of the CCA RPG ready. Fortunately, most of what needs to be done has already been done, so it's our hope that we can get this out fairly soon. On the side, I will taking on a fairly light project, Charlie Vs Heck. Should be a nice follow-up to Chun-Li Vs Kuja that shouldn't be too difficult to make nor will it likely exceed the usual 40 panels.

In other news, today we have a new rookie, and look! It's a girl! That's right, the CCA actually now has a female member! For her first comic, Lain took up the controversial task of continuing my Norimaro saga one more chapter, Chun-Li Vs. Norimaro IV. Despite other attempts to make a Team Hentai comic in the past by rookies who unsurprisingly fell flat on their asses and got rejected, Lain did an exceptional job with hers. Although a rookie never wins points for trying to add on to an idea concieved by another webmaster, the sole criteria for accepting a rookie comic is that it shows potential for improvement, and Lain has the potential to be one of the best. Welcome, Lain, to the Crossover Comic Archive!

5/27/02

Sup once again from Ash Rigo,

You may be wondering why I'm updating twise in a row but its all for good reason.

After many months of making Aya vs. Twilight Zone is DONE! Hot damn! You can see it here. And even better news on the horizon. Gil said that hopefully, he'll have Chun li vs. Kuja done by his next update! I just finished talking to him and he says its gonna be over 100 panels! So this is gonna be a comic worth waiting for! But until then you still have Aya vs. Twilight Zone and Tifa vs. R Mika to hold you guys over!

- Ash

5/19/02

Greetings everybody! Ash here, I know you all want to see the impov comic to end by hang in there! We only have the epilogue to do and then that's it! Whoo hoo!. The suggestion for another improv comic over the summer has come up and GIl is trying to figure out a good date to start it so watch out for that some time during summer. In some other news, work on the RPG has been haulted for a few weekends so we can do some serious work on our latest comics Gman used the time wisly and finished Tifa vs. R. Mika which is up and running along with the rest of his older comics on his new website www.beatrush.com! .Expect work to start again on the RPG after Aya Vs. Twilight Zone and Chun Li vs. Kuja comes out which hopefully won't be that far away!

- Ash

5/12/02

Oh happy day !! Athena vs MTV is in the finishing stretch. Just two more parts.... and finally.... the epilogue !! So all of the authors that participated in the improv comic has to come up with one panel for the epilogue. I really had alot of fun working on this, hope we can do another one in the future.

Okay, I also fixed the links to ALL of my comics since ipower is hosting me. So now my comics should be viewable now.

One last thing: anyone willing to help out with the CCA RPG  go there now (by clicking on the link ^_^). Nothing much, but we've put up a couple of requests for anyone who wants to try and chip in. Our biggest obstacle is the fact that we can't make our own midis, so we'd really like it if we could enlist the aid of someone who can. But you don't have to have mad midi skillz to help out, either. See the bottom of the page for more (okay, not a whole lot more) details.

- G-man

5/06/02

How are you gentlemen!! I'm proud to announce that the CCA is now an affiliate with the Zany Video Game Quotes page. For this and future affiliates, I've finally added a links page. I really can't think of any good links I'd want to put up besides the ones that are already on the members' pages, so for now there's only three links there. I and my associates will probably be adding more links in the future, but think of it this way: Would you rather I finish up Chun-Li Vs Kuja, or add some stupid links to pages you probably already know about? Yeah, I thought so.

On the matter of Kuja, that project has once again become my top priority. I finally broke out of my slump and am hoping to really speed things up on the comic, since I know pretty much everything that's going to happen, I just need to sit down and do it all. Afterwards I'm going to kick back, relax, and do some work on the CCA RPG and my next project, Charlie Vs. Heck.

For a while now I've wanted to make a comic starring Millenia, but I was having trouble thinking of a suitable first opponant, and a few days ago when I saw the Slayers movie for the first time (my first non-SF anime) a big ol' light bulb went off in my head, and now I know the perfect opponant for Millenia: Lina Inverse! Once I get myself a few more Slayers DVDs I'll start planning out the comic in earnest, but already I've gotten quite a few really good ideas.

One last thing: I've also updated the CCA RPG page.

4/28/02

As we get closer to summer, things are kind of slowing down for me thanks to school work but fear not, I'm still working hard on the CBS for the CCA RPG. However, working on the RPG gave my comic train of thought a serious blow. Aya Vs. the Twlight zone is getting more and more delayed so I haven't got the slightest idea when it's gonna be done any more.

There is good news however, due to my rising efforts on the CBS, there may be a slight hope that we can add the CBS into the demo of the CCA RPG. The final decision is ultimately up to how difficult the coding is willing to be so lets all keep our fingers crossed that the rest of the coding will be nice and simple ^_^

- Ash

4/13/02

Greetings, all! Gilgamesh here, with the latest on the CCA RPG that has been the subject of most of our updates lately. Well, actually I think I'll just let the update I made to the RPG page speak for itself.

In other news, G-Man's page has experienced some serious trouble, so while he tries to sort things out, don't expect to see his comics working for a while. The poor guy is moving YET AGAIN to a new place, but now he's getting his own domain! Don't ask me what it'll be called though. Even he doesn't know yet. ^_^

- Gilgamesh

4/06/02

Things are going full speed for all of our comics so far. My spring break (the reason why I didn't update last week ^_^) gave me a lot of time to work on my comic so hopefully it'll be done sooner rather than later. Gil has also decided that after his epic Kuja comic, he's gonna be making Charlie vs. Heck. ^_^

Also yours truly officially signed on for Gil's CCA RPG as the scripter. My job is pretty much to hopefully give you all a Final Fantasy style battle System besides the ugly default RPGmaker system. The scripting is Confusing as hell but I felt a little worthless doing nothing so I said what the heck!

- Ash

3/31/02

Hello all, it's Gman again. It's not much of an update....wait it is ! Spence and myself have already added our share of work for Athena vs MTV ! As you can see the counter is on "5". So go on and enjoy it you earned it ! The CCA RPG is going full speed !! It won't be long now for a demo to be released, things are looking good !

- G-man

3/21/02

Well, it's my turn to update once again! I've added the links to the new sections to all the other pages like I've said I would, and I fixed the problems with Sakura's and Sephiroth's pages (how I could make them "upside-down" like that and not know about it is beyond me!).

The biggest news by far, though, is that the latest CCA project, Athena Vs MTV, has now begun! You can see the first four panels, made by me, in the new Athena section, or you can simply click the link above. ^_^ Every four days starting now (provided that nobody involved in this project craps out) another author will be adding two to four panels to the comic until all six of us have gone three times. Since these new panels will be added every few days, there's really no point in updating the whole freakin' site just for that, so I've started a progress counter that will go up each time there's a new section. Simple enough, right?

- Gilgamesh

3/17/02

Hey all, as promised, I finished the entire CCA Awards Comic by this update. It took way too long to finish but that was mainly due to pure laziness on everybody's part. If anybody was looking forward to it I apologize but hey, better late than never.

Gman also released his latest comic:Cammy Vs. Shadowloo, so go check that out as well. It's quite silly ^_^

In other news, the villain for the Improv comic has been decided. The improve comic is now offical, Gil told me over ICQ today that the Improv comic is going to be Athena vs. MTV. Believe me, these guys had this one coming for a long time ^_^

As far as the critic's corner, Gil and I were going over how to present our reviews and just need to work out some kind of outline for how each review will be going. That'll be open in a little while longer but not as long as the CCA Awards too.

- Ash

3/11/02

Hey gang, Gilgamesh here again. I don't want to step on anybody's toes, especially since G-Man had already just done his scheduled update two days ago, but I have a little bit of late-breaking comic news. As you'll notice, the CCA RPG page is back up (like the updates page, it's not on every page. I don't have the time for that right now, but by my next scheduled update I ought to), and with G-Man working with me as my graphics and map designer, things with the RPG have gone from a snail's crawl to Warp Ten! I don't know when I'll have a demo ready, but it'll definitely be a hell of a lot quicker than it would have been without G-Man's mad Photoshop skillz!

On another, more urgent note, the improv comic has reached an impasse. We simply can't agree on a villain. So, in the spirit of true improvization, we're going to poll our audience and do whatever they request! So, e-mail me (not G-Man, not Ash Rigo, ME) with who you want to see Athena Asamiya to fight. Whoever gets the most votes wins, and (as long as it's in the realm of good taste and the like) we will HAVE to do it! This poll will only go on for a week, maybe two, so hurry up and get those suggestions in! Oh, and there can only be ONE suggestion per person, and don't try to cheat, because I'll know.

- Gilgamesh

3/9/02

Good day to all ! G-man here again to bring you an update. (While losing the "germ war" -_-)

Ideas for the improv comic are coming along steadily. So far we agreed on Athena (For those who don't know who she is, she's appeared in many SNK games, most notably the King of Fighters.) Now we're just struggling for the perfect villian ! Once we get that settled, then we can start the comic.

Gilgamesh is working on the CCA RPG, and I decided to help him by making charasets, maps and the like..... Sort of a Graphics Manager. Hopefully in the next update or two the CCA RPG page will be back up with some new screenshots and info !

In the comic news, Chun-li vs Kuja, Cammy & Co. vs Shadowloo, Aya vs the Twilight Zone, and the Awards comic are still in the works. I don't know when any of those will be done, but my guess since Ash and Gil are slaving over the awards comic, that'll get done soon. I think. So just sit tight and relax, until the next update !

- G-man (*cough*, *gag*)

3/2/02

Welcome all the The Crossover Comic Archive. For my update this week I decided to start keeping an archive of previous updates. The Updates page is only accessable from the main page for the time being, because to add the button to the other ones would be a huge chore, especially considering that for my next update, I plan to have two or three more sections to add (The CCA RPG page and Comic FAQ pages will be returning, as well as a new page for comic reviews). It's just easier and less time-consuming to do it all at once.

A few days ago, in the message board, the CCA members decided to take up a whole new project: An improv comic! One author makes two or three panels, then two days later, another author has to continue the plotline with another two or three panels, for about four to six weeks. We still need to work out some of the details, but so far all five of the active CCA members will be participating as well as one newbie. Other newbies are welcome to try and improv with us, as long as they can keep up the pace (and don't crash the comic. ^_^)

My progress on Chun-Li Vs Kuja comic this week has been held up a bit because I'm scrambling to finish my part of the CCA 2001 awards comic, which I really procrastinated on for a long time. ^_^ Sorry, Ash. Considering how huge Chun-Li Vs Kuja is prooving to be, I'm seriously considering the possibility of releasing the comic in chapters. I mean really, this bad boy's going to be at LEAST 90 panels long, and it will probably go into triple digits here.

I've been bouncing around a bit from scene to scene, not being too concerned with chronology like I used to be. If the spirit moves me to make a particular scene, but I'm having writer's block on the current scene I'm working on, so what? So, I'll probably have the next installment ready within a week or two, hopefully. And because I've got a pretty good head start on the third and possibly fourth chapters, they won't take as long to finish as this one has.

- Gilgamesh

2/21/02

Hi all. Ash here to bring in the news for this week. To be quite honest there isn't much to say. We're all busy trying to adjust ourselves to the new CCA so we haven't been very productive this past week.

The CCA Awards are in its last phase if anybody is interested. We have all the awards made and ready but we're just in the middle of making the award comic. I'll probably hand out the awards to everybody soon since it's been so long. Remember though. Patients is a virtue!

Now that the pain of the CCA Awards are almost over, I have been ready to make my next comic: Aya Vs. The Twilight Zone. Though its in its early stages of the thought process, I can assure you that its gonna go through and hopefully be a good nominee for next year's CCA Awards.

On a final note, now that we have a new location for the CCA, Gil and I are going to start a new section of the page for comic reviews. Think of it like the Ebert and Roeper for CCA comics. I'm gonna be working on it along side the CCA Awards so hopefully both will be up within the next few weeks.

 Until next time!

Hello all ! It's me G-man, and I'm doing this update here. I'm taking things slow since I was spoiled by the "copy and paste" method from Frontpage 2000 that I almost forgot HTML ! But fear not, It's all coming back to me.

The only update I managed to do was to add my "Tifa vs Garnet" comic in the Tifa comic menu. I'm pretty sure everyone has seen it by now.

Also I want to go over all the recent comics and jot down all the Charlie Deaths, and update the Charlie death page. It has been awhile since it's been updated. So anyway, sorry today's update isn't much of an update, but the CCA is still running. So take care CCA fans !

Welcome all to the new home of the Crossover Comic Archive! Okay, I'm sure most of you are right now looking at the greatly-reduced menu to your left and thinking, "Hey, where's the rest of the CCA?" Well folks, the fact of the matter is that before the CCA finally got off Geocities, most of it (okay, ALL of it) was pretty outdated. I promised myself that I would move the CCA today, even if that means taking only the comics themselves for now. But hell, that's probably what you came to see, right? Worry not, friends, the rest of the CCA goodness will be back real soon, and better than ever. The Charlie Death Chart will finally be updated, as will the Comic FAQ and the preview page for the CCA's RPG Maker 2000 game.

The java menu is also gone, at least for now. Once I get things sorted out a little better I'll think about the possibility of bringing it back or perhaps making a new one. There are now sections on the comic menu for Cammy, Mai, and Dragonball Z, as well.

The hatemail page is down for a different reason: I want more hatemail. I think maybe by displaying the hatemail page I've discouraged these idiots from sending me their flames, knowing that we yearn to mock them. So it's gone for a while. Eventually it will resurface for a brief period of time, and again will be taken off.

There will also now be WEEKLY UPDATES! Not weekly comics, mind you, but the page will now be updated on a much more regular basis than there have been lately. The three of us will take turns, updating at least once a week with new comics, additions to the Comic FAQ or the horribly-outdated Charlie Death Chart, perhaps report on active projects, and basically anything else we can think of. G-Man will be handling the next update, scheduled for this weekend.

Because there are now multiple updaters here, I no longer have a link to just my e-mail. Instead, you can e-mail any CCA member you want (as well as read their profiles and check out their homepages) at the Meet The Crew page. For now this mostly covers full-timers; there are still a couple part-time members I need to add, but this should more than suffice for now. And because most of the links on the Links page were simply to other CCA members sites, I've taken it down for now. I'll reupload it later once I've got a good list of other cool sites to visit.

The currently-absent sections will be returning shortly. Right now, there's an excellent chance there are broken links and images at various places on this site. I don't know where all of them are, and as I write this it's almost 3:30 AM, so I'm too damn tired to even TRY to test it all out. If you come across ANYTHING wrong, please e-mail me.
